How much time does it take out of the day to homeschool?

For younger kids, homeschooling usually takes about two hours a day. As they get older, it can take a bit more time, but most become more independent with practice. And if something isn’t working, you can always adjust, get creative, or ask the community. That’s the beauty of homeschooling

How do I socialize my kids so they're not awkward?

We spend the first five years of our kids' lives teaching them to walk and talk, and then public school spends the next 12 years teaching them to sit down and be quiet.

We encourage parents to get involved and make connections to build friendships within your community. Whether that's through sports, church, or other community programs. The beautiful thing is that homeschooling allows your kids to develop themselves and their confidence without all the judgment, bullying, and onslaught of trauma the public school system gives them.

My child has special needs. Will this work for us?

Typical approaches don't often work for kids with special needs. This can be extremely frustrating as parent! That's why we've created a community to support one another and are working on bringing in special guests to specifically address how to homeschool kids with special needs.
